I am writing to remind you that by attending this
year’s Applied Geography Conference in Atlanta in October, you will have
the options for submitting manuscripts for consideration for
publication in one of the special issues as listed below:
Applied Geography: the top 5th geography
journal with a very high impact factor. Manuscripts for this special
issue should be in the 3,500 to 3,750 words area plus bibliography and
maps. We plan to accept up to 20 manuscripts
for publication.
International Journal of Applied Geospatial
Research: a highly acclaimed journal. We plan to accept up to 10
manuscripts of regular journal length.
And of course, you will still have the other option
of submitting your manuscript for consideration for the annual volume,
Papers in Applied Geography, by the Applied Geography Conferences. These
manuscripts should have a 10-page maximum,
inclusive of all tables, maps, or graphics.
In short, I am very excited to report the much
expanded opportunity for fellow applied geographers to publish and share
their works. Please note that all manuscripts are due by June 15th, 2014.
